Frequently Asked Topics

Listing Approval

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Repurpose Exchange checks photos, condition, pricing, and seller contact information. Most listings are acknowledged within 24 hours and reviewed within 1–2 business days.

How Auctions Work

Sellers can set a starting bid and optional reserve price. Buyers place bids during the auction window, which runs from 3–14 days, and the highest bidder wins when the auction closes. If the reserve isn't met, the seller can accept the highest offer, counter, or decline.

Seller Terms

Terms are set per submission. Send us the equipment details and our team will review them and come back to you with terms before anything goes live. Buyers pay the listing price plus shipping and applicable taxes.

Shipping & Fulfillment

Repurpose Exchange works with LTL freight carriers and specialized solar logistics suppliers. Shipping is quoted case by case based on pallet count, weight, distance, and liftgate or forklift needs.

Damaged Equipment Path

Not all equipment is fit for resale. Damaged, non-functional, or heavily worn equipment can be routed to Repurpose Solar for EPA-compliant recycling. Sellers receive proper documentation, and nothing goes to a landfill.
